It certifies treatment centres, funds research, runs care services and equipment loan programmes through its territories, and leads federal advocacy. Since fifteen chapters separated in 2023 and 2024, some regions are served by independent organisations instead, such as ALS Network in California and Hawaii, so check which body covers your state.
