A Congressionally funded programme that runs an annual cycle of research awards for ALS, with mechanisms ranging from early therapeutic ideas to pilot clinical trials and biomarker work. Applications go through the eBRAP and Grants.gov systems and most mechanisms accept institutions outside the United States. Deadlines change every year; the programme page carries the current cycle.
