ALS Untangled reviewed Aimspro, a hyperimmune goat serum, and found that its mechanism remains unproven. The review identified one detailed but significantly flawed case report involving a person claiming to have ALS, and supported further study in animal models or a small phase 2 trial with objective measures.

Why this matters

This does not establish that Aimspro slows ALS or changes treatment. ALS Untangled said people with ALS should not use the product further until a proper trial is conducted.

Limitations and context

This is an independent expert review, not a clinical trial. The evidence described consists of a single flawed case report, and the diagnosis and treatment effects were not established by controlled research. Aimspro's mechanism remains unproven.
