A computational study examined five widely used non-nutritive sweeteners and identified molecular targets associated with neuroinflammation. The analyses linked these targets to inflammatory processes and predicted altered activity across several neuroinflammatory disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Why this matters
