A study found lower perivascular space diffusivity measures in 57 people with motor neuron disease than in 32 matched healthy controls. Lower values were also linked with bulbar onset, longer disease duration and insomnia. The findings suggest altered glymphatic-system function may be involved in motor neuron disease.
