Meet Beth: Introducing our new Research Engagement and Involvement Manager
Beth has joined the UK Motor Neurone Disease Association as its Research Engagement and Involvement Manager. She will work to involve people affected by MND in shaping research and lead opportunities for collaboration across the MND community. Her planned work includes an inclusive online community and the EnCouRage initiative for early-career researchers and people affected by MND.
Why this matters
People with MND and their families may have more opportunities to share their experiences with researchers and learn about research as it develops. This is an organisational role and set of planned activities, not evidence of a new treatment or a change to current care.
